Nursery

In nursery the approach is traditionally based on playing, singing, practical activities such as drawing and social interaction as part of the transition from home to school. Children spend 3 to 4 years of their time in pre-primary school after which they are eligible to attend 1st Standard. This promotes holistic development essential for continuous success in school life in a student centered atmosphere. Here children have an opportunity to participate in various activities which involve arts & crafts, stories and playtime to explore and enhance their skills in language, mathematics and sciences. Children are encouraged to work both individually and in small groups thereby encouraging their social skills.

Each kindergarten class is supported by two teachers thereby improving the student teacher ratio which permits individual attention for each child. In the Nursery teaching is supported by the XSeed program.

XSEED is a research-based academic program for schools that builds thinking skills and problem solving confidence in children. The XSEED approach to teaching and learning was specially developed to align with existing international standards and the syllabus of various boards, including the CBSE and ICSE education boards.
